Buying a greens powder online
We sell one greens powder and nothing else, so this is the short version of what is worth knowing before you buy any of them, including ours.
Most greens powders get abandoned
That is the honest problem with the category and every buyer already knows it. A tub gets bought in January, used for a fortnight and then lives at the back of a cupboard. Usually it is the taste. Sometimes it is that it needs a blender, and a blender at seven in the morning is a decision rather than a habit.
So the question worth asking about any greens powder is not what is in it. It is whether you will still be taking it in March. A powder you will drink is worth more than a better powder you will not.
Real food or extracts
Greens powders are made two ways. Some are whole foods that have been dried and milled, so the tub holds ground-up fruit and vegetables. Others are built from isolated extracts, standardised for one compound and blended to a spec.
Ours is the first kind, which is why the ingredient list reads like a shopping list. Neither approach is dishonest, but they are different products and the label is where you tell them apart.
What a serving actually is
Compare tubs by the serving, not by the tub. Ours is 240 g and 30 servings, so a scoop is about 8 g and a tub is a month at one a day. A cheaper tub with 20 servings in it is not cheaper.
Price per serving is the number that matters, and it is the number most listings make you work out for yourself.
Claims, and what we will not tell you
You will find greens powders sold on immunity, energy, gut health, focus and everything in between. We do not make those claims and we have taken them off this site. In Australia a powdered supplement is regulated as a food only while it makes no therapeutic claim, and the moment it promises an outcome it belongs in a different regulatory category with a listing number we do not hold.
What we will tell you is what is in it, how much, how it mixes, how many servings and what it costs. If you want to know whether it is right for you, or whether it sits well with a medication or a condition, ask your doctor.
